The Incompatibility Warning

Britain’s Demographic Suicide Is Coming Here Unless We Act Now

I wrote my last column from the front porch of the suburban Texas life I grew up in. I looked out at the same streets I played on as a kid and watched mosques rise where churches and community centers once stood. I heard conversations in parks where English used to be the default. I saw kids struggling to find common ground because their parents come from worlds that never shared one. And I said plainly: I don’t want my country to become a shithole country. I don’t want what’s happening in Britain to crush the British culture that helped build this one.

That column wasn’t theory. It was observation. It was a proud, unapologetic defense of the melting pot that made America work — the one that demanded assimilation, not endless parallel societies. Hart-Celler killed that model in 1965. Chain migration, no pause, and elite multiculturalism replaced it. Now the evidence is piling up faster than the dot-map animations flooding X. Britain, our mother country, is living the future we’re importing if we don’t hit the brakes.

Britain as Cautionary Tale

Look at the numbers coming out of the UK right now. A new poll from the University of Glasgow, reported just days ago, asked 2,000 young Brits aged 16 to 29 a simple question: Would you fight for Britain? Fifty percent said “under no circumstances.” Only 38 percent said they would under some conditions. Their optimism about the future has collapsed — the share expecting their lives to be better than their parents’ has halved in a single year. Just 25 percent feel the political system treats them fairly. These aren’t abstract stats. These are kids who’ve grown up watching their culture get shoved aside.

One teenage boy put it better than any pollster ever could. In a street interview that went viral, he stood in front of Union Jacks and said, straight to the camera: “They are forcing us to learn about Islam and Mohammed in school. I don’t want to know. I want to know my culture. I’m proud to be English!” That’s not hate. That’s a kid begging for the same thing every generation used to take for granted — a country that still feels like his.

Then there’s the raw street reality. At Speakers’ Corner in Hyde Park, a Muslim man looked a Christian in the eye and said, “I hate you for the sake of Allah. Every Christian… Any Jew, any Christian. I hate you all for the sake of Allah.” When asked who taught him that, he answered without hesitation: “Islam did.” Pressed on whether he’d kill in a war, he replied, “If we’re in war I would chop your head off!” This isn’t some back-alley radical. This is open-air, in the heart of London, in 2026.

The Scale Visualized

These moments aren’t isolated. They are the visible edge of a demographic transformation the dot-map videos make impossible to ignore. One widely shared animation tracks illegal migration into Europe over the last 15–20 years. Each dot equals 100 people. The swarms pour across the Mediterranean and Balkans, lighting up Germany, Sweden, France, and Britain like an advancing front. The UK map is especially sobering for us. Our mother country — the one we share language, law, and the Special Relationship with — has seen its foreign-born share climb from about 8 percent in 2001 to 16 percent and rising. Muslim population has more than tripled to around 6–6.5 percent, with higher fertility driving sustained growth.

Compare that to the U.S. versions focused on the Biden-era border surge. Those maps show millions of encounters in just a few years, heavy flows into Texas, then dispersal inland. The time scales differ, but the pattern is the same: volume overwhelms. Pre-1965, we had smaller waves, pauses, and relentless pressure to melt into one American culture. Irish, Italians, Poles — they became us. Post-Hart-Celler, mass inflows from culturally distant regions created enclaves instead of convergence.

Fertility Projections Lock In the Momentum

Fertility projections lock this momentum in. Muslim women in the UK average about 2.9 children — the highest of any religious group. Native British fertility hovers around 1.4 to 1.8, well below replacement. In the U.S., Muslims are younger and have higher birth rates than the national average. That gap doesn’t close fast enough to matter when numbers are this large. Early marriage norms imported from places like Iran make it worse. Just ask Anni Cyrus, the ex-Muslim activist who testified recently about her own childhood. Born after the Iranian revolution to a sheikh father, she was forced into hijab at seven, declared an adult woman under Sharia at nine, and sold by her father as a child bride at thirteen for $50 and opium. She endured beatings, rape, and lashing for “crimes” like nail polish or singing. That is the lived reality behind the fertility numbers. That is what doctrinal supremacy looks like when it’s applied to girls.

The Takeover Underway in Texas

Here in Texas, the takeover is already accelerating. Amy Mek has been chronicling it relentlessly on X. In Lubbock, a Texas Tech medical student with Muslim Brotherhood ties and family roots in radical Syrian networks bought an abandoned elementary school in January and turned the entire campus — classrooms, gym, cafeteria, fields — into a massive “Unity Center” mosque in just 45 days. Local media called him an interfaith hero. In Dallas, radical imams are pushing to convert a former Korean Baptist church into a mosque, Islamic school, and dawah seminary. In Aubrey, a 25-acre mega-project is rising for mosque, school, and Sharia-compliant businesses. And right here in Plano, I watch the same layering I described last month continue to reshape the neighborhoods I love.

Inside American mosques, the rhetoric matches the street. MEMRI-captured sermons tell Muslim audiences the “greatest mission” in America is to “destroy Christianity.” Imams pray openly: “Oh Allah, count them, kill them one by one, and do not leave a single one of them alive.” CAIR’s own founder has laid out a 20-year plan to use thousands of mosques as infrastructure for producing lawyers, journalists, and politicians who will “write our own narrative” and place Muslims in Congress, the Senate, and potentially the Supreme Court.

Not Classical Liberalism — Power First

This is not classical liberalism. As I wrote in “The Machiavellian Nonprofit,” these are not confused idealists who just want more kindness. Classical liberals constrain power — through individual rights, limited government, free speech, and markets that disperse authority. Modern leftists prioritize power. They organize for it, institutionalize it, and never act without calculating its advancement first.

David Strom nailed the downstream result in his recent HotAir pieces. Diversity without assimilation destroys social trust. Robert Putnam’s research proved it years ago: in more ethnically and religiously diverse communities, people “hunker down,” trust neighbors less, volunteer less, give less charity. The high-trust republic that made America exceptional cannot survive parallel societies where loyalty to Sharia outranks loyalty to the Constitution.

Britain shows us the endgame. Grooming gangs, no-go zones, plummeting patriotism, and a generation that sees its own heritage as the problem. We still have time to choose a different path. But the window is closing.

The Prescription

The solution is straightforward and unapologetic: a complete immigration pause — legal and illegal — until we can restore the melting pot. Repeal Hart-Celler. Return to a system that prioritizes cultural compatibility, demands English as the public language, and insists on assimilation instead of accommodation. Public institutions must be neutral, not bent toward incoming norms. This isn’t cruelty. It’s stewardship. Nations exist to preserve a particular people and culture for their posterity. That is the sovereign right of Americans, just as it was for every generation before 1965.

I don’t hate individuals. I reject the ideology that refuses to melt. Low numbers with ironclad assimilation pressure can work for reformers who truly leave supremacist doctrines behind. Mass numbers without that pressure import the incompatibility we see in the UK streets, the Texas conversions, and the fertility projections.

The dot maps don’t lie. The videos don’t lie. The polls don’t lie. Britain is our canary in the coal mine. If we love the America that gave Anni Cyrus refuge and still feels like home to kids in Plano, we will act now. Pause the inflows. Repeal the law that broke the melting pot. Restore the shared culture worth defending.

Because if we don’t, the next generation won’t be asking why they should fight for Britain. They’ll be asking why they should fight for what used to be America.

And I, for one, refuse to let that happen on my watch.
